Sophie is an individual and couples therapist specializing in sex therapy, substance misuse disorders, eating disorders, and men’s mental health issues. Warm, compassionate, and gentle, Sophie enjoys working with clients who are eager to explore their inner world, disentangle old patterns that are no longer serving us, and better understand themselves from a holistic frame.

Sophie has particular expertise in working with queer men on their relationship with sex and intimacy, especially those who have experienced religious trauma, as well as working with people of all genders on their relationship with their body, sex, and substance use.

Within Sophie’s sex therapy speciality, she finds working with individuals and relationships of all shapes and sizes extremely fulfilling and has supported many in exploring polyamory, open relationships, and ethical non-monogamy, most especially those within the queer community. Additionally, Sophie is an excellent fit for those in the kink or BDSM community and has experience working directly with sex workers in a therapeutic capacity. No matter what your relationship(s) look like, they have a place in the room with Sophie.

Sophie is also well suited for clients looking for support in navigating and exploring their queer identity, clients struggling with Borderline Personality Disorder, and those in the Jewish community.

Sophie is an individual and couples therapist specializing in sex therapy, substance use disorders, eating disorders, and men’s mental health issues.

With a warm and compassionate approach, Sophie finds joy in working with clients who are looking to understand their inner world, let go of shame and stigma, and explore the old patterns that no longer serve them.  She believes in a holistic framework where clients can examine the context and narratives that inform how they show up today.

Sophie has particular expertise in working with men on their relationship to sex and intimacy; men are repeatedly told to deal with emotions on their own, and Sophie strives to change this story by creating an environment where everyone feels comfortable to share their full self.  Additionally, Sophie is interested in collaborating with people of all genders on their relationship to their body, sexuality, and substance use.

Within Sophie’s sex therapy speciality, she finds empowering individuals and relationships of all shapes and sizes extremely fulfilling and has supported many in navigating polyamory, open relationships, and ethical non-monogamy, especially within the queer community. In addition, Sophie is an excellent fit for those involved with kink and BDSM; she also has experience working directly with sex workers in a therapeutic capacity. No matter what your relationship(s) looks like or the challenges you’re facing, they have a place in the room with Sophie.

Sophie is also well suited for clients looking for support in exploring their queer identity, those looking to manage symptoms related to Borderline Personality Disorder, and those in the Jewish community looking to work with someone who personally understands the complexities of being Jewish in our current world.
